1968 Mercedes-Benz 250 SL Pagoda Roadster

Beautiful,  one family ownership since new, Mercedes 250 SL. This pagoda SL was purchased locally new in February 1968 and had been maintained and owned by the same family until this year. A beautiful silver on black leather 250 SL with power steering, power brakes and the very desirable 4-speed manual transmission. 
  The car has great documentation of service and repairs by local Mercedes specialist shops but most importantly had a complete engine and transmission rebuild including the fuel injection system less than 10,000 miles ago and is fully documented at a cost of over $25,000. The car is presented in its original color, though with one repaint over 20 years ago. The windshield was replaced as well as all of the chrome being re-plated at that time. In addition to the mechanical restoration this garage kept SL has had professionally installed brand new leather seats over new pads, new Dash and Consol wood added as well as Correct Coco mats. The matching hardtop, which is in excellent condition including the headliner, all of the original tools in their original tool roll, the original owners manual and data plate are all present. The car runs and drives very well with everything functioning as it should. Extremely well documented maintenance and repairs back until the 1980s, the car is an excellent quality driver, in very desirable colors and excellent condition with some minor paint blemishes.
