1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 SL roadster
Originally Ordered and purchased brand new in the summer of 1967 from the local dealer in Asheville North Carolina, this beautiful 250 SL spent its entire life with one owner, garaged in the same area where it was first purchased. Last year the car was acquired from that owner for it’s refurbishment and restoration to its current state. Documentation starts from the date of its order to today showing consistent growth recorded mileage, a great service and repair history and finally a nice professional refurbishment.
During its life the car has received a new power steering pump, a new starter, a new alternator, rear differential pinion seal’, shifter bushings, a fuel pump, electronic ignition, a rebuilt brake system, a replaced ignition switch and much more thoroughly documented professional service and maintenance.
Most recently, during its refurbishment, it received an updated interior including new leather seat covers Professionally installed over new seat pads, a carpeting set, refinished interior woodwork, tachometer professionally refurbished, a new set of tires, a complete professional paint and bodywork, including the matching hard top, refreshed weatherstripping were necessary, modern radio that looks original and more.
