Stunning, matching numbers, 2 owner California Buick GS 455. One of only 5584 built in this is the 1st year of production for the GS 455, this car was produced in the Fremont California GM plant, stayed in California it’s entire life, has had 2 owners and only has 58,000 original miles!
Quite rare and well optioned with power steering, power brakes, tilt steering, power door locks still fitted with its resealed and reconditioned original 455 in.³, 4 barrel, Original True ram air hood, resealed original TH 400 auto transmission all of which are matching numbers to this beautiful, highly professionally restored and upgraded classic.
Most recently, the original Pearl interior was professionally refreshed with new seat covers, front door panels, rear window trim, interior mirror, Steering wheel, dash top, front and rear armrests. A new windshield and seal was installed and the car was professionally wet sanded, compounded and buffed to accentuate it’s very expensive, professional show quality paint and body work. This year new Cooper cobra white leather radios were fitted to the original refinished chrome wheels as well as a new exhaust system from manifolds to tail pipes. In 2018 the engine was pulled, main seals replaced, valve cover gaskets replaced, water pump replaced, transmission mount replaced, alternator replaced, carburetor rebuilt, new brake master cylinder, new hoses and resealed transmission.
Other services include recently replaced rear shocks, full service including fuel filter, air filter, plugs, cap, wires, a new ignition switch, completely reworked heating system, automatic transmission vacuum modulator, repaired original clock, New interior vent cables and knobs, and more. The car also features a custom stereo installation which allows the radio to appear as stock but when switched on activates a 520 W amplifier professionally installed in the trunk and allows an MP3 cord to plug-in in addition to the AM / FM radio.
