1974 Triumph TR6

Recently purchased from its 83-year-old long time owner in New Mexico, this car was originally bought brand new in 1974 in Arizona and gifted to a female friend of the most latest owner. The car had remained in the same family since new until purchased by the most recent owner. Always garaged in with 55,000 original miles, the car has had one professional repaint in it’s original color but benefits from vast amounts of refurbishment, restoration, service and Many upgrades. Most recently,  the car had brand new REAL LEATHER seat covers, ordered from England and professionally installed over new seat foams with a matching carpet set, matching trunk set, new trunk panels and new door panels. Mechanically the car has 2 -2 barrel Weber downdraft carburetors fitted to a Pierce manifold replacing the original Strombergs. PerTronix electronic  condition and coil were added as well as a set of Spax adjustable tube shocks on the rear, replacing the old lever shocks and new Spax shocks on the front end. A new windshield chrome and rubber weatherstripping were added to a refinished windshield frame. An alloy valve cover, new radiator shroud, new fuel pump, new filters and belt were added as well as a re-bushed suspension system.                                                                 Brand new tires were fitted to freshly sandblasted and refinished wheels with new center caps. The car runs and drives extremely well as you would expect a rust free New Mexico car with this low mileage on it to perform.
