1973 Volkwagen Karmann Ghia
A beautifully restored and refurbished 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia coupe. This car was stripped to bare metal in 2019 and completely repainted with a 2 stage BMW white metallic finish. During its restoration the wiring harness and fuse panel were replaced, a new distributor, alternator, coil and battery were added as well as PerTronics electronic ignition. New brake lines were installed while installing new front spindles to add new disc brake discs, calipers and pads. New rear calipers and pads were added as well as new ball joints, tie rod ends and exhaust pipes. All of the lenses on the outside of the car were replaced as well as all of the badges, all of the rubber weatherstripping, new grills, new exterior mirrors, 4 new door hinges, new oil pressure sending unit, fuel sending unit, & shifter bushings. The valves were just adjusted with new gaskets added then the car was tuned with new plugs and wires and a new ignition switch, turn signal switch and headlight switch were installed. Most recently new bumpers were added front and rear as well as a new shift boot, refinished bumper hardware with new seals, 4 new shock absorbers, a carburetor rebuild, 4 brand new radials on refinished wheels as well as a new dash top and glove box.
Overall this is exceptionally nice, rust free, beautifully restored, unique late Karmann Ghia in excellent condition and ready to drive and enjoy. A Bluetooth radio system was also added to the vehicle to allow MP3s to be plugged in though the radio but appears to be from the cars original era. (Retrosound)
